Description of the composition

The scent of Divin Mensonge is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Godet comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Whiteflower, Wood and Floral. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Floral and Wood.

Right at the start you sense delicate white floral first notes: Gardenia and ylang-ylang. These 2 notes form creamy romanticism that is impossible to miss.

In the central layer you notice Jasmine and Tuberose keeping a creamy tuberose direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Oud and Patchouli, shaping a warm vetiver trail.

The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together Divin Mensonge sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.
