Overall, nothing outstanding. The price is like for porcelain. The scent, in essence, is not fresh, it's warm, with notes of cream and flowers, with a clear vanilla base, cozy and simple. Longevity is so-so 😕

This fragrance, positioned as unisex, actually looks quite feminine due to the bottle color and its notes. Vanilla might indeed smell stylish and attractive on a man. But I have doubts about ylang-ylang 🤔

Again I see that expectations don't match reality. When this scent first came out, I thought it would be light and airy, especially with such an elegant bottle and a cute name. But what did it turn out to be? A real tropical sweetness with floral notes, generously seasoned with vanilla. It looks beautiful externally, but for me, it's too heavy)))

Don Alberto truly knows how to create white floral fragrances, and A Chant for the Nymph is a vivid testament to that, even though it's dedicated to ylang-ylang. This fragrance is a sweet and delicate bouquet of flowers, where ylang takes center stage. Its lily-aquatic nuance gives the composition lightness and volume, but in my opinion, Revolution de la Fleur by Carlos Benaïm for Sana Jardin sounds much cleaner and more transparent, reminiscent of fresh linden blossom.

A Chant for the Nymph feels like a dense cocoon where lilies, gardenias, and tuberoses intertwine, but ylang-ylang clearly dominates here. In the luxury segment, ylang isn't as popular as rose or jasmine, but in this fragrance, it unfolds astonishingly. I've chosen just a couple of options to pair with A Chant for the Nymph. The first is 1:1 with Winter’s Spring, to make the ylang scent closer to the linden blossom I adore. The second option is with Moonlight Serenade and the A Kiss From Violet accord, to create a complex and expensive old-school mix reminiscent of Chanel.

A Chant for the Nymph can be considered a standalone fragrance. It's uncomplicated, yet self-sufficient. Such compositions are excellent for any season and weather, though in St. Petersburg, with its cool climate, this fragrance reveals itself especially well

The fragrance is indeed rich, with bright creamy-honey notes and powerful floral accents. But the longevity on the skin was disappointing — it fades too quickly. Overall, the perfume isn't bad, but nothing new, I've already encountered similar ones in luxury lines ))))

The bottle is simply gorgeous, so exquisite and delicate. The fragrance pyramid also attracts attention - tropical notes, perfectly suitable for summer. Maybe I'll try it someday, though I'm not really a fan of this perfume game 😌
