Description of the composition

Fragrance Composition

The note pyramid of Gucci Fading Autumn is built on a harmonious blend of woody accords, which create a deep and multifaceted scent.

The composition is dominated by notes of nagarmota (cypreol, cyperus, sedge), imparting freshness and an earthy tone, while cedar adds warmth and longevity.

Patchouli introduces characteristic spiciness and depth, and sandalwood completes the composition with a soft creamy accord, creating a cozy and intriguing aftertaste.

These elements blend together, forming a single thread that unfolds on the skin, offering a journey from the initial freshness to a lasting woody base.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Autumn here is very believable) The smell of fallen leaves, but it's not that golden autumn when dry carpet rustles underfoot, but rather damp, decaying foliage

This fragrance truly immerses you in the autumn atmosphere. You can feel bitter herbs and patchouli in it, as well as an astringency that is slightly softened by sweetish sandalwood. It's unusual and not for everyday use!!!

I agree with others. The prices are just outrageous, and the scents aren't impressive. It seems we're paying for the packaging, not the quality. I don't collect dishes, so this isn't for me 😒

The bottles are just AWFUL! The names are enticing, of course, but the prices are simply shocking. The fragrances, in essence, don't surprise and don't offer anything new, in my opinion. This autumn for me is nothing but sandalwood and nothing else

How great these bottles look! Painted, like works of art. But the prices for the fragrances are just off the charts, it's too much 😅 And you can only find them in big cities, which is very sad. Autumn is a time of magic, and I really want to enjoy new scents! 🍂

I once noticed I have an interesting rule: if you don't know what something smells like, just think of sandalwood! It sounds strange, of course, but this rule seems to work. Especially when it comes to modern synthetic sandalwood fragrances, which can surprise you with their transformations. If you've tried my latest perfume Le Piege, then perhaps you understand what I mean.

As for Fading Autumn, Morillas created a true harmony of sandalwood notes, and it's hard to describe. These fragrances don't try to imitate natural raw materials or follow traditional oriental paths; they are very abstract. The scents are complex, but the structure is simple, and they merge into a single accord that's difficult to put into words.

Fading Autumn is exactly such a case. I can't pinpoint exactly what it smells like. Sandalwood, yes, but floral, smooth, and modern. And next to it, there's something contrasting-dark, woody, like a long shadow on yellow grass in October. But don't be afraid of this shadow; it only emphasizes the beauty of the floral sandalwood.

The oil base Ode on Melancholy would be perfect for this fragrance. They seem made for each other! At least, their pyramids on the website match. In a one-to-one combination, the fragrance becomes not just complete, but deep, while remaining abstractly beautiful. The shadows become sharper and more dramatic thanks to the woody nuances.

Adding a "heart" accord isn't essential, but I really liked the transition through the raspberry violet A The Virgin Violet. By the way, you can also do without the base: the combination of Fading Autumn and A The Virgin Violet in a 2:1 ratio is magnificent on its own-the flower unfolds from unexpected sides and loses its old-fashioned character

I really liked all the components. They are very clean, without excessive sweetness, which is pleasing. Maybe the longevity isn't top-notch, but autumn brings its bitterness of herbs and freshness of the air. This creates a special atmosphere

This scent is definitely not for me. The green notes are too harsh, and the bitterness is just off the charts. Even for men, it seems too heavy and tart. I feel like I swallowed soap 😬

On me, it's just patchouli and some kind of herb. The scent is sharp, prickly, and cold, definitely not for me. It seems like this is a fragrance for true connoisseurs. Perhaps it just didn't develop on my skin

Autumn is a time when you crave something warm and cozy! This fragrance is perfect for this season. It's a bit dry, but sandalwood is clearly noticeable in it. The other notes don't really stand out, but the sandalwood here is simply gorgeous and very pleasant!! It doesn't resemble those harsh scents from oriental markets, but rather creates an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility

The scent didn't impress me at all. The patchouli somehow didn't work for me, it's off-putting. I feel like it lacks some warmth and friendliness. I can't even imagine where one would wear it. It seems more for a collection than for real life ))))

The scent is herbaceous and green, with patchouli notes. It smells quite cold and even slightly rough, so it's probably more suitable for men. The longevity, unfortunately, isn't great, and that's a bit disappointing
