Description of the composition

The scent of Diamant Noir unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Herve Domar is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic, Wood, Gourmet and Musk.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect smoky-balsamic opening notes: Frankincense and Labdanum. Exactly these 2 notes build noble smoky warmth that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you sense Patchouli and Sandalwood holding a spicy-woody direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Amber, Vanilla and musk, shaping a velvety incense trail.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Musc, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.
