Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Tourmaline is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Herve Domar is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Orange and Rosemary. Exactly these 3 notes set sunny vitality that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you notice Freesia, Lavender and Sage carrying a harmonious floral direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Musc, Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Aromatic, Floral and Green. The palette also extends to Spicy, Gourmet, Wood and Musk.

Taken together Tourmaline holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.
