Description of the composition

The composition of Wave for Her evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Hollister is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Green, Fruit, Floral and Ambery. It also reaches into Wood, Mineral and Whiteflower.

Right at the start you detect sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Black currant leaf, Carambola and Quince.

In the central layer you meet Hibiscus, Orchid and Poppy holding a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Floral, Fruit, Wood and Amber without random overlap. Background accords such as Cosmetic expand the olfactory volume in the background. Oh, how bright it is! A true embodiment of sunshine and warmth, simply a miracle. The fragrance is summery, juicy, intense. There are many fruits and floral notes here, but it's hard to pick out anything specific 🌞

The fragrance is too light and watery, like flowers floating in fruit juice. It's refreshing, yes, but if it's not there, you wouldn't even notice. This is certainly not the best approach to perfumery 😕

Oh, it's so cool! The scent is refreshing, with a tart nuance and a pleasant sourness, a bit rough. Light, perfect for spring and summer, but it doesn't reveal itself as brightly without sunlight. When the sun shines, it's simply magnificent!

From the first accords, it feels somewhat similar to Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, with bright quince and citrus freshness, but then the fragrance starts to unfold in its own way. It becomes more intense, even with marmalade notes, and floral nuances begin to emerge. This isn't for me, quince isn't my taste 😕
