Description of the composition

The composition of Rubis unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Honore Payan is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fruit, Spicy, Whiteflower and Floral. It also reaches into Wood, Gourmet and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral and Fruit.

Right at the start you detect sweet-fresh fruity opening notes: Apricot, Coconut, Hot pepper and Plum.

In the heart you sense Lily of the Valley, Rose, Sandalwood and Tuberose holding a sensual jasmine direction.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.
