Description of the composition

The composition of Bois Dormant is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Houbigant comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Citrus and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Amber, Spicy and Cosmetic expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

Right at the start you detect grassy-green first notes: Aldehydes, Bergamot, Costus and Galbanum.

At the core of development you notice Clove, Geranium, Jasmine, Rose, Spices and Wormwood keeping a velvety rose-iris direction.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Fairy, Citrus, Floral and Green. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Spicy, Animals and Earthy / Mossy.
