Description of the composition

The composition of Cioccolato Amaro e Patchouly unfolds as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Il Profumiere comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood, Spicy and Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a warm spicy mood: Amber, Bergamot, Cardamom, Chocolate, Copaiba balsam, Dark Chocolate and Lemon.

The inner phases are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Balsamic, Citrus, Spicy and Sweet. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Wood and Gourmet.
