Description of the composition

The composition of Jour de Rose unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Il Profumiere is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

In the top tier you catch sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Blackcurrant, Cinnamon, Raspberry and Rose. These 4 notes shape sweet sensation of summer nectar that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you sense Damask Rose, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Vanilla keeping a structural woody direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fruit, Spicy, Floral and Wood. The palette also extends to Gourmet, Ambery, Balsamic and Musk.

Taken together Jour de Rose holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Too many roses, too much sweetness and berries. The berry rose, despite its richness, feels light, as if it has air in it. This scent really appealed to me, although I initially expected something completely different. How quickly impressions change!!
