Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of I.Oud unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of IO.KO 1954 is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Wood, Floral, Spicy and Musk. It also reaches into Ambery and Leather. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Wood.

Right at the start you detect clean cedar opening notes: Oud, Rose and Saffron.

In the central layer you notice Cashmeran, Cedar, Neroli and Spikenard holding a structural woody direction. In the final layer the composition is fixed through Ambergris, Leather accord, Musk and Sandalwood, shaping a dense amber trail.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Floral, Musc, Wood and Amber without random overlap. Additional accords such as Leather and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall I.Oud reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.
