Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Œdipe evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Irie is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Balsamic, Leather and Wood. The palette also extends to Aromatic.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a soft-dry woody mood: Black Pepper, Cardamom, Frankincense, Leather accord, Patchouli, Peppermint and Pine Needles.

The deeper layers are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Wood and Leather without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Œdipe reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.
