Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Psychedelique evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Jovoy Paris comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top note: Citrus accord.

In the central layer you detect Ambergris, Geranium, Labdanum, Patchouli and Rose carrying a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

I once tried all of Jovoy's fragrances, and none of them impressed me. That was in the summer. But now... in the colder months, Psychedelic has become a viscous, vibrant, and alluring scent that makes you want to wrap yourself in it and warm up. It's so delicious and has an amazing sillage! I want it again and again!!!

In 2011, the fragrance Psychedelique appeared. Perfumer Jacques Flori from Robertet decided to emphasize patchouli, which smells quite sharp and pungent. This fragrance has notes of mold, bitter chocolate, and camphor, creating a rather gloomy impression 😔

This fragrance will definitely appeal to those who adore patchouli. There's plenty of it here, plus amber, vanilla, and geranium. The citruses are surprisingly masked; they're not on the surface but seem hidden under a dense layer of patchouli. The result is a scent of a real celebration: a chocolate cake thanks to the patchouli and sweet, intoxicating notes of alcohol make it special 🎉
