Identity and Release History

Imagine an endless summer on the beaches of Malibu, and you'll understand the essence of the fragrance Juicy Couture Malibu Surf.

Released in 2016, this perfume became part of the iconic Malibu Collection from the brand Juicy Couture.

The history of Juicy Couture, founded in Los Angeles in 1994, embodies the spirit of the California dream: courage, friendship, and luxury in everyday life, making Malibu Surf an ideal reflection of this philosophy.

This fragrance is not just a perfume, but a true journey into sunny days, where the sea meets the sand, and fruity notes blend with floral accents.

It belongs to the Floral and Fruity families, offering a bright and cheerful composition that lifts the mood in any situation.

Positioning and Wearability

Juicy Couture Malibu Surf is specifically created for women seeking lightness and elegance.

In the form of eau de toilette, it has a fresh and unobtrusive character, with a barely perceptible trail, making it ideal for the office, walks, or romantic dates.

You can apply it to your skin in the morning, and it will accompany you throughout the day, gradually revealing its layers.

Since specific dosage recommendations for skin and clothing are not provided, we advise starting with one or two sprays on the wrists and neck to assess its longevity.

This fragrance is particularly good in the spring-summer season, when its refreshing notes harmonize with warm weather.

If you enjoyed Malibu Surf, you can explore similar fragrances, such as Juicy Couture Malibu for a more classic beach vibe, Korloff Paris Gold with its golden notes of luxury, or Agua de Cheiro Princess Pink Teens for sweet-tooths seeking playful compositions.

Information about the perfumers behind the creation of Malibu Surf is unfortunately not available, but this does not diminish its contribution to the perfume world.

Description of the composition

Fragrance Composition

The note pyramid of Malibu Surf is a true art of blending accords.

Top notes of Mandarin, Strawberry, Watermelon, and Red Apple create an explosive and juicy start, reminiscent of freshly harvested fruits at the market.

Moving to the heart, you will sense the delicate floral notes of Frangipani, Jasmine, and Tuberose, which add tropical depth and elegance to the composition.

The base secures the fragrance with warm Amber, sweet Vanilla, cozy Driftwood, and sensual Musk, creating a long-lasting and enveloping finish that leaves a pleasant aftertaste.

This is the perfect choice for those who love layered fragrances with a bright start and a gentle finish.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The fragrance reminds me of Escada's summer limited editions. It's sweet, bright, and quite positive. I can smell apple, vanilla, strawberry, and musk in the base. Overall, not bad

The scent really reminds me of vanilla with coconut, although there doesn't seem to be any coconut. Maybe some flower adds this nuance. And the berry tartness is also pleasing, it adds freshness. Overall, it's a great scent for summer, like a refreshing cocktail )

This fragrance is actually not bad. You can smell vanilla with fruits, but there's also a light freshness, possibly from watermelon and strawberry

I didn't think there wouldn't be aquatic notes here, and that pleased me. Instead, I smell ripe strawberries and juicy apples, as well as bright citrus and refreshing watermelon. Quite a burst of flavor

Escada, sure, but I can't say it's anything special. Tropics, yes, but too many fruits, watermelon and strawberry are just overwhelming. This coconut sweetness seems to be trying to overshadow everything around. Tuberose, thankfully, isn't noticeable, but that doesn't make the fragrance any better. Memories of some vacation in Brazil, but in reality, it's just a banal beach scent that causes nothing but irritation
