The olfactory structure of Oud Salama is built as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Lattafa Perfumes is evident from the opening to the final trail. From the first breath you meet astringent woody first note: Woody Accord. Exactly this 1 note forms clear woody framework that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the central layer you detect Ambergris, Leather accord and Musk keeping a sweet-resinous direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Oud and Woody Accord, extending a warm vetiver trail.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Musc, Wood, Amber and Leather without random overlap. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

An affordable alternative to Amouage's Opus. The scent is still the same, with a smoky and resinous oud accent, rubber is present, but it has become more intense and without rose powder. Overall, my impression of both perfumes is similar

The fragrance is quite rich, fruity-oudy. The fruits here seem overripe and slightly fermenting, and the oud, as expected, has a slight metallic aftertaste. If you're an oud fan, this might appeal to you, but for others, it might be too heavy 😶‍🌫️
