Description of the composition

The composition of Bukhoor evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Thomas Kosmala is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Wood, Mineral, Ambery and Musk. It also reaches into Gourmet. From a family perspective the scent maps to East and Wood.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect clean cedar opening note: Woody Accord. Exactly this 1 note sets lasting warm resonance that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you sense Smoke carrying a aqueous-mineral direction. In the base the composition is fixed through Ambergris, Oud and musk, shaping a dense amber trail.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Musc, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Overall Bukhoor reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent is just a nightmare. I can't believe anyone could wear this. It reminds me of when we used to collect trash during community clean-ups as kids, and that suffocating smoke would linger around. No pleasure at all, just heaviness and oppression. There's nothing pleasant in this fragrance, just a harshness that presses on your brain. I don't understand how anyone can get used to this. It's not a fragrance, it's a real torture for the senses 😤

Scent of wood and smoke. Light notes of burning that, despite their intensity, really grab your attention and pull you in. This fragrance is warm, with a hint of brutality, creating such a cozy vibe all around 🌲
