Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Marshmallow evolves as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Les Petits Plaisirs comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette sets the depth and body this composition needs.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the first seconds you catch delicate floral top notes: Cherry Blossom and Red Fruits.

In the middle phase you meet Caramel and Licorice carrying a velvety-sweet direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Floral, Fruit, Sweet and Spicy. It also reaches into Gourmet, Musk, Drinks and Fairy. From a family perspective the composition sits in Fruit, Gourmet and Sweet.

In summary Marshmallow holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The smell reminds me more of caramel than anything else. It sounds too intrusive and dense, even one spray causes a headache. I took it with me to the dacha, but I don't know what to do with it yet 😩

My introduction to this brand's fragrances happened thanks to a video by a blogger who lives in England. Honestly, I thought they would be ordinary mono-fragrances, like Yves Rocher, and the packaging hinted at that too. But, as it turned out, Les Petites was much more interesting. The desire to try them was huge, but finding them turned out to be a real challenge. We had to order them with a friend through some acquaintances. In the end, we amused everyone, because we chose the fragrances only by their names. As for marshmallow, it didn't live up to expectations. I thought it would be light and sweet, but in reality, it turned out to be too dense and sweet, resembling caramels. Neither I nor my friend liked it )
