Description of the composition

The composition of Feu De Bengale is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of J. Lesquendieu is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

In the top tier you meet dessert-like creamy top notes: Almond, Davana and Fig. Exactly these 3 notes build effect of a cozy dessert that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you sense Iris, Mandarin, Rose and Tolu balsam keeping a harmonious floral direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Background accords such as Fruit, Musc, Powdery and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Gourmet, Green, Fruit and Floral. It also reaches into Citrus, Balsamic, Spicy and Musk. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral.

Taken together Feu De Bengale holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Feu de Bengale is another fragrance that can be attributed to citrus gourmand, which we discussed as a possible trend. But the mandarin sweetness, so moist and bright, seems not to combine with the rough sweetness of powder. The result is a somewhat flat accord, which even almond crumbs, seemingly added to provide texture, don't save. Attempts to soften the harshness with iris and tonka beans are also not very successful

This fragrance brings such a mood that Dolce Vita by Dior immediately comes to mind. You can feel a combination of citrus champagne and vanilla in it. It's really sweet and delicious, truly gourmand! 🍹

First an explosion of gourmand notes. Sweet citrus sparkles, powder with almond crumb is an interesting touch. The composition is bright and rich
