About Lise Watier India

India by the Canadian brand Lise Watier was launched in 2013 and immediately caught the attention of fans of oriental floral compositions.

This is a women's fragrance in eau de toilette concentration, belonging to the oriental and floral fragrance families.

The fragrance's name and mood are inspired by the mysterious, sensual culture of India—it seems to transport you to an atmosphere of ancient temples and spice bazaars.

Character and Sillage

This perfume is a true olfactory cocktail that unfolds gradually, revealing new facets with every passing minute.

Thanks to its very strong sillage, India leaves a vivid, memorable trail. The fragrance is rich and spicy yet delicate—an ideal choice for evenings out and special occasions.

Wear it for yourself and your own pleasure: it was created to highlight its wearer's individuality and mystery.

Description of the composition

The olfactory pyramid of Lise Watier India is built on contrasts. The top notes—juicy bergamot and exotic passion fruit—create a bright, sparkling opening.

At the heart blooms a lush bouquet of gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, and honeysuckle, intertwined with spicy saffron.

The base remains sensual and warm thanks to musk, which anchors the composition and gives it a long-lasting trail.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. This fragrance clearly stands out from all the sweet and youthful scents of this brand. It's truly unusual and complex. Usually I'm not a fan of strong saffron and cardamom, but here their tartness blends so harmoniously with a milky sweetness that it's simply captivating. It feels rounded and luscious. The sweetness of flowers intertwines with tart spices, creating an amazing composition 🌸
