Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Dama da Noite is shaped as a living composition, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of L`Occitane en Provence is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a peppery-spicy mood: Cardamom, Jasmine, Lavender, Mandarin and Selenicereus.

The middle and base stages are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Whiteflower, Green and Citrus. It also reaches into Floral and Gourmet. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to East and Floral.

Taken together Dama da Noite holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This is definitely not for everyone. On my skin, the jasmine has an indolic tint, the lavender seems to scream, and the citrus reminds me of something artificial. Didn't impress me, let's just say. A very unusual scent turned out 😕

The scent is cool, with spicy notes of lavender and a light citrus zest. It truly energizes and invigorates. It's refreshing, like a breath of fresh air!

The spices here are just brutal! The scent is clean, of course, but it's somehow too cold and even screechy. Honestly, I feel uncomfortable in this smell, and that soapy nuance completely throws me off. I don't know, maybe someone else will like it, but for me, it's a complete failure
