Description of the composition

The composition of 1899 is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Malay Perfumery comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a refreshing grassy mood: Amber, Fallen leaves, Frangipani, Green Chord, Rainwater, Rose and Tropical fruits. Here 7 notes work as one voice, forming morning coolness sensation that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The deeper layers are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Aquatic, Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Mineral enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Balsamic, Green, Floral and Mineral. It also reaches into Fruit.
