Description of the composition

The composition of Marc Jacobs Biscotti Splash skillfully combines notes of Bergamot, Freesia, Orange Blossom (Fleur d'Orange), and Vanilla.

Bergamot adds citrus freshness in the opening chords, creating an invigorating and inviting impression.

Freesia and orange blossom form the floral heart of the composition, lending it tenderness and elegance that smoothly transition into the warm and cozy base of vanilla.

This blend of elements makes the fragrance multifaceted and harmonious, perfectly suited for those seeking balance between freshness and comfort in perfumery.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The vanilla and powdery scent is very sweet. It smells pleasant and delicate. Longevity is moderate, with no sillage at all 🌸

The fragrance is truly cozy and very feminine. It's light and bright, with notes of vanilla and orange blossom, which give it tenderness and softness. A sweetish nuance is felt delicately, but I wish the longevity was a bit better

The fragrance is sweet-floral, with notes of vanilla and powder. It's truly bright and positive, its lightness is simply captivating, femininity is felt at every turn. Longevity is decent, but the sillage is almost imperceptible, which, of course, is disappointing 😕

The fragrance is really sweet, the flowers are distinctly felt, and vanilla adds spiciness. It seems quite rich and dense, even a little heavy. Longevity is good, but unfortunately, there's no sillage 😌

The fragrance is simply magical, like a light mist, you hardly notice it until the wind brings it to you. It's true spring, with delicate vanilla that smoothly intertwines with transparent flowers 🌸

I can't say this fragrance impressed me. At first, it seems fresh - orange blossom and bergamot, floral notes sound quite pleasant. But then some sweetness appears, like a pastry, and that's not at all what I want to smell. In the base, by the way, there's vetiver, but it's not really gourmand. You can't tell if it's a floral or a gourmand scent. You can try it, but honestly, it's better to stop at that point )
