Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of 1917 evolves as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Max Joacim is clear from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Leather add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

From the first breath you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Citrus accord, Hot pepper and Verbena.

At the core of development you sense Cigar and Osmanthus keeping a soft abstract direction. In the base the composition is fixed through Benzoin, Cedar, Grey Ambergris, Leather accord, Oak moss and Tonka bean, extending a thick resinous trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Fruit and Fairy. The framework further includes Floral, Balsamic, Wood and Animals.
