Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Fleurs d'Oranger unfolds as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Mazzolari is clear in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Whiteflower and Wood. It also reaches into Ambery, Spicy, Gourmet and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral and Fruit.

Right at the start you meet sparkling citrus top notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Orange and Rose.

At the core of development you meet Jasmine, Orange blossom, Sandalwood and Virginian Cedar carrying a sensual jasmine direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together Fleurs d'Oranger holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance unfolded completely differently than I expected. There's no hint of orange blossom here, rather it's bright and rich wild fruits from Mancera. Cedar and citruses create an excellent combination, and a touch of vanilla adds an interesting twist. However, the sour undertone of rose slightly disrupts the overall harmony. Overall, it's a very positive and confident scent that offers bright prospects
