Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Chypre Palatin evolves as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of MDCI Parfums is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Aromatic and Citrus without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Gourmet, Floral, Fruit and Wood add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

Right at the start you meet fresh green top notes: Aldehydes, Clementine, Galbanum and Hyacinth.

In the central layer you detect Gardenia, Iris, Jasmine, Plum and Rose carrying a sensual jasmine direction.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Fairy, Citrus, Green and Floral. It also reaches into Balsamic, Aromatic, Whiteflower and Fruit.

Overall Chypre Palatin reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. A warm chypre scent that is truly impressive. Here, amber and musk create an interesting combination. Aldehydes and fruits are present, adding freshness. The overall impression is quite animalic, thanks to castoreum, so definitely try it before buying.

Yes, indeed, it reminds me of Allure! Overall, for me, this is a perfume with notes of plum, aldehydes, and floral accents. And in the base, there's something balsamic. It's perfect for brunettes!

I perceive this perfume as oriental, that's for sure. It has light notes reminiscent of Opium, though just a little bit. If you mix it with Chanel Allure Sensuelle, you get an interesting combination. The fragrance is truly luxurious, and its quality is top-notch. For me, it's simply magnificent and incredibly attractive. In our time, it's a real perfumery miracle! In my opinion, it's perfectly suited for women, as it possesses a special allure

The scent, in principle, could have appealed to me, but there's one "but"... too much animalic notes that are too strong on me. Though, I admit, I've always had difficulties with that. Otherwise, it's a truly wonderful soft mossy leather chypre. Very aristocratic and noble
