Description of the composition

The composition of Cio Cio San is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of MDCI Parfums is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet invigorating sunny top notes: Ginger, Grapefruit, Lemon and Lime.

When the opening settles you detect Cane, Cherry Blossom, Lychee, Oolong and Peony holding a harmonious floral direction.

Powdery cherry. I expected it to be a light and fresh scent of a blooming garden, but in reality, it turned out to be somewhat sour and prickly. I like all the notes, but this powder... I can't quite pinpoint what it is that smells like that. Maybe too much sourness? And honestly, I can't imagine what sugarcane should smell like 😅
