Invasion Barbare MDCI Parfums, brought to life in 2005, sits firmly in the category of a masculine fragrance, belonging to the fern and east families. This fragrance is the personal signature of perfumer Stephanie Bakouche. Offered in eau de parfum concentration.
It carries a noticeable sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. Apply with care — the longevity is very high, and this one means business. Made in France. Invasion Barbare MDCI Parfums — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.
The fragrance is very long-lasting, staying on the skin for 12 hours or more, gradually revealing its notes
The scent is clearly present near you, but it does not fill the entire space
The perfume has a fresh scent that is not too intense, so it does not overwhelm those around you with strong essences
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Fragrances for spring and summer unfold with light citrus notes, floral and fruity accords, filling the composition with freshness, airiness, and a feeling of carefree lightness on warm days
The scent of Invasion Barbare is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of MDCI Parfums is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.
The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Very high points to a sustained drydown presence.
In the first seconds you sense sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit and Violet leaf.
When the opening settles you detect Cardamom, Ginger, Lavender and Thyme carrying a warm-spicy direction.
From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Green, Spicy and Aromatic. It also reaches into Wood, Gourmet and Musk.
In summary Invasion Barbare reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

At first, it shocked me a bit with its sharpness, but then it unfolded completely differently - vanilla and lavender played out in a way I didn't expect. For those who love powerful and sharp fragrances, this could be a real discovery. Although, of course, the joke about the "mighty" isn't without meaning ))
