Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Sugarful evolves as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Michel Germain is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Fruit, Citrus, Sweet and Floral. It also reaches into Wood, Musk and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the scent maps to Floral, Fruit and Sweet.

Right at the start you sense sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Strawberry and Tangerine.

In the central layer you detect Cotton Candy and Peony holding a velvety-sweet direction. In the base the structure settles through Sandalwood and musk, shaping a deep woody trail.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Musc and Wood enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In summary Sugarful holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent is mind-blowing! The sweetness here is so intense, it's like someone tried to make cotton candy but failed. Instead of a delicate texture, it turned into some strange mixture resembling melted sugar with sharp edges. It's cloying, yes, and even a bit prickly. And there's something artificial about it too, like they added strawberry flavoring usually used for soap 🤔
