Description of the composition

The scent of Cotton White unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Missha comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Fragrant mist emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a velvety-clean mood: Musk and Powdery notes. In this case 2 notes sound as one voice, building delicate intimate trail that feels seamless.

The deeper layers are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Musk and Powdery. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Powdery.

In summary Cotton White sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood in wear.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The smell of powder. It's like a light cloud just enveloped me. Feels gentle, light, and airy. Usually, such fragrances smell sour and soapy on me, but this one just unfolds so nicely. Amazing!
