Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Ortensia is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Hilde Soliani is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Green, Floral, Whiteflower and Musk. It also reaches into Wood. From a family perspective the scent maps to Floral, Musk and Wood.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense fresh green top notes: Green Chord and Hydrangea.

In the middle phase you notice Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Orange blossom, Rose and ylang-ylang keeping a sensual jasmine direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Cashmeran, Cedar and musk, shaping a silky musky trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Ortensia reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.
