Presence Montblanc, released in 2001, is positioned as a masculine fragrance, drawing from the spicy and east families. Perfumer Corinne Cachen poured every ounce of mastery into this one. From the Presence collection; released as eau de toilette.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Presence is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Montblanc comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense spicy sparkling first notes: Bergamot, Cardamom, Cinnamon and Ginger.

In the heart you detect Apple, Heliotrope and Sage holding a velvety fruity direction.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Amber enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is masculine, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Spicy, Fruit and Floral. The palette also extends to Aromatic, Ambery, Wood and Musk.
