Fragrance information:

Imagine a scent that, from the first breath, transports you to a world of sensuality and art — this is Nasomatto Narcotic Venus, a perfume released in 2007.

This release from the niche house Nasomatto became a true event, highlighting the brand's bold and provocative approach to perfumery.

Nasomatto is not just a niche perfumery house, but a loud declaration of creative freedom that challenged the entire industry.

Based on a philosophy of experimentation, the brand allows each fragrance to speak for itself, and Narcotic Venus is a vivid example of that.

Positioning and Character of the Fragrance

Narcotic Venus is classified as a women's fragrance, but its universal aura can also captivate those seeking something beyond gender boundaries.

With a concentration of Perfume (Extract), this perfume offers an intense and long-lasting resonance, perfect for special moments.

Its medium trail creates an elegant cloud that surrounds you without overwhelming others, making it suitable for evening outings or romantic dates.

Regarding dosage, experts recommend entering the cloud when applying to the skin — this means a light spray is enough for the scent to gently envelop.

For clothing, optimally 1 to 2 sprays to maintain freshness without overloading the fabric.

Thanks to warm and spicy accents, Narcotic Venus sounds particularly advantageous in cool seasons — autumn and winter, adding coziness and depth to your image.

Creative Genius Behind the Fragrance

The creator of this masterpiece is Alessandro Gualtieri, a perfumer known for his avant-garde approach and ability to turn emotions into scents.

His work on Narcotic Venus reflects the characteristic style of Nasomatto — bold, artistic, and somewhat mysterious.

Gualtieri masterfully combined floral and spicy elements, creating a composition that feels both familiar and new, which enhanced the brand's reputation as a pioneer in the world of niche perfumery.

The influence of this fragrance on Nasomatto cannot be overstated — it became one of those releases that define the brand's DNA, attracting the attention of connoisseurs seeking more than mass-market.

Comparing with other works by Gualtieri, Narcotic Venus stands out for its femininity and depth, complementing the brand's portfolio with equally bold creations.

Similar Fragrances for Further Exploration

If Narcotic Venus has appealed to you, it's worth paying attention to other perfumes that share its floral-spicy aesthetic.

For example, Gucci Gucci Bloom offers a fresher and more modern take on floral motifs, while Amouage Honour Woman presents a luxurious and intense alternative with oriental notes.

For those attracted by provocative themes, Franck Boclet Cocaïne could be an interesting comparison, albeit with a different emphasis.

These options will help expand your perfumery palette and find new favorites.

In general, Nasomatto Narcotic Venus is more than just a perfume; it's an emotional journey that emphasizes individuality and boldness.

It's worth trying if you appreciate art in perfumery and are looking for a fragrance that will speak for you.

Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This fragrance is certainly beautiful and sweet, but I can't say it's absolutely perfect. The citruses, yes, make it less intrusive, but it's still somehow too cloying. Compliments, of course, pour in, but I don't know, maybe it's just people's politeness. An hour later, it starts to smell different, but I can't say it's a real joy. Overall, not thrilled, but not against it either

The fragrance is truly impressive. Although it can't be compared to Black Afgano in popularity, it is still unique. The scent is bright, but not irritating. It's captivating, but doesn't cause repulsion. That's how the mysterious Venus should sound

Horrible! This sweaty aunt with disgusting teeth is simply unbearable! And this white Chinese guy - a grandma with dementia, in dirty underwear, clearly overdid it with the powder!!! This is simply the worst thing I've seen from the brand. I used to not like white flowers, and now I'm even afraid to approach them!

The floral bouquet is indeed delicate and pleasant. The notes sound noble and harmonious. Overall, the fragrance is nice, but it doesn't leave a vivid impression. The longevity is simply excellent, and the sillage is noticeable. Very feminine, but something is missing for complete delight ))))

Hello, dear niche perfume lovers! "Narcotic Venus" is truly a vibrant fragrance, as if created for passionate and incredibly beautiful women. This composition attracts like a magnet, and its charm is hard to ignore.

Her eyes, like a bottomless abyss, beckon into their depths, and her embraces are a true trap. A fragrance that leaves a sweet trail on the lips, like silken threads you want to get entangled in and never escape.

This is not just a perfume, but a true work of art, created from the finest natural components for true connoisseurs. Every man dreams that his beloved smells exactly like this. Maestro Alessandro Gualtieri is a true wizard in the world of fragrances, and his creation is truly mesmerizing!

The longevity of this fragrance is just off the charts, the sillage isn't bad either, but the monotony just kills it. There's so much tuberose here it makes your head spin, no harmony at all. Definitely give it a try, but keep in mind it's not for everyone. You might love it, or you might find it repulsive

Narcotic Venus is a white floral fragrance where jasmine, lily, and tuberose create an interesting combination. Jasmine plays the main role here; it's melancholic and green, but not overly intrusive. Lily sounds in the background, more restrained and delicate than usual. These lilies don't cause headaches; rather, they are pink, adding soft aquatic notes that soothe the wild character of jasmine. Tuberose, though less noticeable, adds an interesting layer to the composition - it's not sweet and not bitter, but slightly powdery, which enhances this narcotic sensation from the bouquet. All this floral harmony rests on a clean, soapy-musky base.

There's nothing overtly sensual or erotic here, as is often the case with other fragrances. The absence of a strong character in Narcotic Venus can be perceived differently - for some it's a plus, for others a minus. It's more fresh and light than sweet and dense; more synthetic than natural, with soapy and musky notes. Overall, the fragrance evokes POWER

She's definitely a beauty! A New Year's gift from my husband didn't impress me at first, and I just put it away in the closet. But something inside told me not to say goodbye to it. I used it from time to time, and after four years, the bottle isn't even half empty. In autumn and winter, I liked its sillage in the cold air, but at other times, my head would start to hurt 🤯

The fragrance is interesting, of course, but I didn't feel it on myself. I bought it in 2014, and honestly, for the first couple of minutes there was something, and then it all disappeared. It wasn't even noticeable in the sillage. But people around me noticed it, and I saw how they tried to catch its scent, though no one said anything specific. My loved ones, of course, praised it, and I, foolishly, bought it several times again. How sad it is when you spend money on something that doesn't bring joy

This fragrance just screams with its brightness and intensity. The white flowers here sound so loud that sometimes it feels like they're trying to burst out of the bottle. Its longevity is high, but in the heat, it will simply suffocate you. The lily, as if, knows no bounds and protrudes from the entire composition, and the sweetness of tuberose and jasmine, surrounded by spices, gives it some warmth. But, honestly, it's not for me

Suddenly I've re-evaluated my views. It seems spring really is for this fragrance! Delicate flowers with magnificent tuberose at the center! The name fully matches the contents. This love potion is simply magic! But the bottle. It's not for me at all. Although, of course, the main thing is the scent!

Before trying it, I was ready for surprises, even unpleasant ones. But, fortunately, nothing of the sort happened. From the first accords, I felt the scent of white flowers with a slight bitterness. Although I'm not a fan of this direction in perfumery, I agree that white flowers can sound very beautiful. After a few hours, the blotter was filled with a delicate, fresh, and unobtrusive fragrance. Overall, the scent is beautiful, but, alas, not mine :)

This fragrance evokes associations with something unusual. It's multi-layered, with a slight metallic undertone and floral notes that seem to play on the skin. Over time, it changes, and I can't quite pinpoint what it's made of. In the end, musky accents are felt. While it's not entirely for me, its grandeur cannot be ignored )

The fragrance looks appealing, sweet-floral, but something about it isn't right. It's like looking at a gorgeous pink dress in a shop window that seems perfect, but inside you know it's not for you. You don't even want to try it on, even though everyone around admires it. It's the same story with this perfume 😔

Not bad, a rather large bouquet of white flowers that seems to radiate its beauty, embodying elegance and grace. Narcotic Venus is something special, a combination of white flowers and femininity, and it's surprising that there's no indolic quality here. This is truly impressive and speaks to a high level of craftsmanship in creating the fragrance.

Jasmine, lily, and tuberose - seemingly the most "aggressive" of white flowers, but in this case, everything is different. Femininity here can be seen from different sides: on one hand, it's passion and sexuality, and on the other, an unattainable but attractive tenderness. The pink color of the liquid seems to soften everything, giving the fragrance a special lightness.

Narcotic Venus resembles a snow-white bridal bouquet, symbolizing a transition to a new stage of life, full of adventures. This fragrance is like a symbol of rebirth, and for that, Alessandro Gualtieri deserves credit. It particularly unfolds in windy weather, when the sillage demonstrates all its beauty
