Midnight Star by Neil Morris: A Star on Your Skin

Midnight Star is not just a perfume, but an entire story told through the language of fragrance.

Created in 2013 by the talented perfumer Neil Morris, this women's fragrance immediately captures attention with its depth and elegance.

It belongs to the aldehydic and floral fragrance families, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate classic scents with a modern twist.

The Note Pyramid: A Translucent Symphony

The Midnight Star composition unfolds gradually, like a star lighting up the night sky.

The opening accords offer the sparkling brilliance of aldehydes, leading into a delicate heart of honeysuckle, mimosa, linden blossom, and sambac jasmine.

The base is a sensual trail of musk, white musk, and sandalwood. This combination gives the fragrance an airy transparency while ensuring remarkable longevity.

Character and Sillage: Boldness and Tenderness

Midnight Star has a very strong sillage, making it a true statement fragrance. It is for women who are not afraid to be the center of attention.

It is perfect for evening outings, romantic dates, and special occasions.

Thanks to its eau de parfum concentration, its longevity and rich character stay with you for many hours.

A Creation by an American Master

The Neil Morris brand is known for its philosophy: every fragrance is an emotion, a story, and a small work of art.

Midnight Star is no exception: it embodies the American dream in perfumery, blending tradition and modernity.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Right now, I only sense aldehydes and a bit of linden blossom, like on an old canvas. I can't say it develops on my cold skin; rather, it seems to get lost and becomes less interesting. Overall, the scent isn't bad, but it seems it hasn't fully opened up yet 🌼
