Description of the composition

The scent of Calicantus unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Santa Maria Novella is clear from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de Cologne emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Whiteflower, Floral and Powdery. It also reaches into Ambery, Earthy / Mossy, Fruit and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to Chypre and Floral.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet radiant jasmine top notes: Bergamot, Orange blossom and ylang-ylang.

In the heart you detect Clove, Jasmine, Narcissus and Powdery notes holding a silky white floral direction.
