Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Serr d'Eden evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Orens Parfums comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense invigorating sunny first notes: Black Pepper, Grapefruit, Mandarin and Rosemary.

In the middle phase you detect Cedar, Lily of the Valley, Rose and Vetiver holding a velvety sandalwood direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Citrus, Aromatic and Wood. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Floral, Balsamic and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East, Floral and Wood.

The scent is clearly more suitable for men, and the anise in it is so pronounced that it reminds me of absinthe or some kind of anise tincture. The bottle, of course, attracts attention, but there's something kitschy about it that's off-putting. Again, there's a feeling that this has been encountered somewhere before. As if nothing new, just a repetition of the old!!

This French Sirr really catches the eye. Although I couldn't pick up all the declared notes, overall it smells quite harmonious. The floral accents, unfortunately, aren't noticeable, but the other notes blend into a cohesive whole. The scent is well-composed but not flat; there's an interesting transformation. At first, bright citruses are felt, and in the base, a light vanilla wood with a barely perceptible milky note appears. It's a unisex fragrance, but in my opinion, it's more suitable for an evening out. The bottle and packaging are a separate delight, they're truly luxurious. And the price, of course, matches the quality )
