Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Andalucia unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Isabel Derroisné / ID Parfums is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Middle suggests confident staying power.

In the first seconds you sense radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Caraway, Coriander and Mandarin.

When the opening settles you detect Neroli holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Citrus, Wood and Spicy. The palette also extends to Aromatic, Floral and Fruit.

Overall Andalucia reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This scent evokes autumn memories for me, when the air becomes fresh and the landscape fills with transparency. Spicy notes, orange peel, and woody accents dominate. The fragrance has a tart-bitter sound

The scent is just awful, so citrusy it's impossible to wear. It opens like a cut orange that's been lying around for a couple of days. The spices and woody notes just don't go together. This is definitely not for everyone. For me, it's just orange water that I got rid of. Anise with rosemary adds some kind of itchy note that's just irritating. The bottle, of course, is beautiful. But it's better to only buy with a test

In this perfume, spices like coriander and cumin blend with citrus and woody notes. Resin and neroli oil are also noticeable, but as for Andalusia... I don't know, I haven't been there. The fragrance, of course, is curious, but overall it leaves an unpleasant aftertaste 😒
