Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of OML α evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Our Modern Lives is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic and Wood.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a deep balsamic mood: Amber and Woody Accord. Here 2 notes act as one voice, forming noble smoky warmth that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Wood and Mineral with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together OML α reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.
