Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Habdan is built as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Parfums de Marly is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the first seconds you sense incense warm top notes: Frankincense and Saffron. These 2 notes build enveloping resinous depth that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you sense Apple and Oud keeping a soft nectarous direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Balsamic, Spicy, Fruit and Wood. It also reaches into Ambery, Sweet and Gourmet.

Overall Habdan holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

How pleasant it is to see oriental fragrances finding their place in European designer collections. Everything is balanced here - spices add interest, but don't overload the composition. The result is a truly beautiful and harmonious scent

The oriental fragrance is simply gorgeous. It fills the space with sweet notes, as well as nuts, and a light smoky haze lingers in the air. A true delight
