The olfactory structure of Paithani is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Penhaligon's comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense piquant warm opening notes: Black Pepper, Cardamom and Nutmeg. Exactly these 3 notes set piquant dynamism that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

At the core of development you detect Mate, Milk and Rose keeping a pure leafy direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Amber, Leather and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Spicy, Green, Gourmet and Floral. It also reaches into Ambery, Wood, Balsamic and Leather. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to East and Spicy.
