Fragrance information:

2015: the world took its first breath of VIP Platinum Edition Playboy. This is a masculine fragrance rooted in the east and wood families. The author of this composition is Fabrice Pellegrin, and that explains a lot. One of the scents from the VIP collection. Concentration — eau de toilette: exactly what it needs to be.

The sillage is noticeable — present, but never overpowering. The birthplace of this fragrance — the United States, a place with a refined nose. VIP Platinum Edition Playboy — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Description of the composition

The composition of VIP Platinum Edition is built as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Playboy is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

From the first breath you catch sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Birch leaf and Cedar Needles. Exactly these 3 notes shape a sensation of cool purity that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the heart you meet Aquatic accord, Green Apple and Violet leaf keeping a smoky-mineral direction.

The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character. In projection Noticeable defines the projection profile in space.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Green, Wood and Mineral. The palette also extends to Fruit, Sweet, Spicy and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to East and Wood.

Taken together VIP Platinum Edition holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The scent is too sweet, it has a light aquatic nuance, but it's not bright at all. Mostly, it's just sweetness with a slight spicy freshness. But here's the problem - just like with other Playboy perfumes, there's a chemical feel and monotony here, which is very upsetting 😔
