Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Play It Sexy unfolds as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Playboy is evident in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Whiteflower and Floral. The palette also extends to Wood, Gourmet, Drinks and Fairy. At family level the scent maps to East and Gourmet.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense sparkling citrus opening notes: Grapefruit, Mandarin and Pink pepper.

In the central layer you detect Jasmine, Licorice and Osmanthus keeping a sensual jasmine direction.

The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Middle points to a sustained drydown presence. In trail behavior Middle describes the way the scent radiates.

In summary Play It Sexy holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance truly delights, it's fresh and rich. Citrus notes stand out brightly, and jasmine adds lightness. The powdery base gives it coziness and softness. Overall, it's a lovely and long-lasting scent that's pleasant to wear 🌸

The fragrance we're discussing has been encountered before. I can't say it surprises me with anything. It's hard to pick out anything new or original. It seems like it's just a repetition of already known notes. I wonder why they're releasing it again? Maybe someone will find something special in it, but for me, it's just an old acquaintance

This fragrance didn't impress me, the sweetness is kinda weird. Licorice and patchouli are definitely there, but there's too much synthetic and plastic. Because of that, it feels like it's not natural 😕

This fragrance is definitely not for the faint of heart; it's so thick and intense it's overwhelming. Licorice with vanilla and some sharp tartness create a strange combination. I recoiled from it like a poisonous plant, but my friend happily wore it. Our meetings at such times were a real challenge 😅
