Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The Candy line from Prada is simply gorgeous! Each fragrance is unique, but they are all united by something special. Night is definitely an evening option, although I don't mind using it during the day either. The scent is very captivating, with dry notes and a slight bitterness, but at the same time, there's a sweetness. It reminds me of chocolate shavings or cocoa powder with a hint of gooey caramel, and all this deliciousness seems to be covered under a layer of classic candy. If anyone has tried it, they'll understand what I'm talking about 😍

I bought a mini version at the end of summer, back then it was simply spicy and sweet, but now that it's cold, it smells completely different. It's become lighter and somehow more layered. Vanilla with caramel, some spicy heaviness and a smoky nuance have been added. The longevity is decent. Maybe I'll get a big bottle for winter, but I'm not sure it's the best choice 😒

The scent resembles bitter dark chocolate, but there's no sweetness in it. It's powdery, with a light spiciness, sounding very rich and languid. The longevity and sillage are simply outstanding. I've already bought a bottle, it looks amazing with that beautiful gradient on the glass

The bottle actually looks even better than in the photo! This version resembles an evening take on the classic fragrance. It's more resinous and has a slight bitterness, but still retains the same powdery sweetness of caramel

I can't say I'm a big fan of sweet and gourmand fragrances, but Night Candy made a pretty good impression on me. The sweetness here combines perfectly with the bitterness of citrus and resinous patchouli, which, in my opinion, are very noticeable. If you try hard and know the notes, you can catch orange and caramel, but instead of chocolate, I rather smell coffee. The longevity on the skin isn't too high, the sillage is quite delicate. It's interesting that it's compared to the new version of Black Sugar Korres; I have the old version, and it's not similar to Prada Candy Night 🍬

The new release is really interesting, it reminds me of the first "Konfeta" (Candy), but with a different texture. It's more viscous and powdery, and the citrus note stands out more brightly. Chocolate is also present here, it's dark and bitter. Overall, the fragrance is just excellent!

How sad it is when something that looks so appealing actually leaves no deep impression. There are decent pieces in the line, of course, but this fragrance, alas, wasn't a discovery for me. I already have all the flankers in my collection, and I bought this one in a large volume, but, alas, it doesn't bring joy. In my opinion, it's just chocolate with caramel, floral powder, and musk, as if someone added a bit of orange juice, but there's nothing special about it 😔

I recently tried this new product, and honestly, the bottle looks simply magnificent, its color scheme really catches the eye. And the scent... I liked it, but it's already a denser and richer version of the first candy. Now I'm dreaming of a bucket of this happiness!

The bottle and the scent are simply super! No words are enough to describe how great it is! It's a really cool addition to my collection. The fragrance reminds me of sweets, but with character - it has become brighter and bolder! It's as if night envelops the city, and I completely agree that this perfume is perfect for evening wear!!!

I'm wearing this fragrance today, and here's something interesting: a little boy sitting behind me on the bus said I smelled like candy. Funny, because I don't smell candy sweetness myself, although the fragrance is indeed sweet, just not in that way. Such an unexpected comment surprised me 😄

I approached the fragrance without knowing its pyramid. I was only familiar with Candy Sugar Pop before, and this is a completely different scent. The opening was very dry and bitter, I thought it was iris. In the drydown, I felt the sweetness and warmth of Candy, but ultimately the fragrance disappointed me. Tar with vanilla, and I wondered if there might be a leather accord here. Seeing the pyramid on Prada's website, I was surprised: Neroli, Iris, Bitter Orange, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Chocolate, Patchouli. So, I wasn't wrong about the iris and vanilla. Reading further, I came across information about coumarin, which can be derived from tar. I didn't recognize the citruses and chocolate, but perhaps I'll revisit the fragrance again. An evening scent, with niche pretensions, but it leaves a bitter aftertaste

I really liked the flanker in the pink bottle with cherry, but this new one is a complete disappointment. The combination of chocolate and orange sounds somehow strange. I expected to smell something like chocolate cookies with jam, but instead, I feel an unbearable heaviness. The bottle is beautiful, of course, but this sunset sky color only highlights how everything else here is a failure

Caramel with chocolate - that's just awful! I hope at least a little citrus saves it from this cloying sludge. The bottle is cute, of course, but that doesn't save the situation. Gradient on clear bottles - yes, beautiful, but what's the point if there's such nastiness inside

I've collected almost all versions, except for the fragrance in the gold bottle. Of course, not all bottles are in the collection, there are miniatures and decants too, but that's quite enough for me. Candy Night isn't needed in full size, it's not that carefree. Against the sweetness of caramel, there's a certain heaviness of chocolate and cocoa, which gives it the character of more mature, feminine fragrances. The inspiration and delight from the collection are overwhelming!

A nostalgic scent, like being carried away to winter evenings. Cocoa, caramel, and vanilla - this combination is truly beautiful, but sometimes too sweet. Wintery, yes, but in other seasons it might feel too heavy and cloying. Its sweetness can suffocate, as if you've lost something important 🍂
