Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Al Maqam is built as a living composition, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Rasasi is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Oil-based perfume supports the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect fresh floral first notes: Floral Notes and Oud. Exactly these 2 notes build the effect of a living bouquet that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you sense Ambergris and Woody Accord keeping a golden-amber direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Floral, Musc, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Floral, Wood, Ambery and Gourmet. The palette also extends to Musk. From a family perspective the scent maps to East.

Overall Al Maqam reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.
