The composition of Balquis unfolds as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Afnan is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Wood, Floral, Ambery and Musk. The framework further includes Gourmet and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the composition sits in East, Floral and Wood.

Right at the start you detect dry woody top notes: Oud and Rose.

In the central layer you sense Ambergris and Woody Accord carrying a softly spicy direction. At drydown level the composition is fixed through Sandalwood and musk, extending a earthy woody-resinous trail.

the scent is really beautiful and classic, with oriental notes. oud and rose here no longer surprise, but rather create an atmosphere of expecting something familiar and pleasant. although it's not unique, it still brings joy. lots of oud and rose, everything feels rich and dense, with a slight smokiness. longevity is excellent, and the sillage is such that it's a pleasure to wear indoors

This perfume, honestly, could be poured into any bottle, and it still wouldn't save it. The oud here is so strong it makes your head spin, and the metal just stinks like old iron. The wood, yes, smoky, but not in a beautiful way. Just some kind of nightmare, not a fragrance. Beautiful? Don't make me laugh!
