Fragrance information:

Rogue Man Rihanna – masculine strength in an oriental-woody setting

Launched in 2014, Rogue Man by Rihanna is a bold and charismatic men's fragrance belonging to the oriental and woody families.

In eau de parfum concentration, it unfolds as a full-bodied, long-lasting companion for confident men.

Created by Frank Voelkl

This unusual fragrance pyramid was created by renowned perfumer Frank Voelkl.

He succeeded in bringing Rihanna's vision to life: a fragrance that entices and leaves a moderate trail you simply cannot get enough of.

Rogue Man is more than just a cologne – it is a true tool of seduction, perfect for evening outings.

What to pair it with and similar fragrances

If you have come to love Rogue Man, take a look at fragrances with a similar mood: Chanel Allure Homme, Dolce & Gabbana The One For Men, and Prada Babylon.

Each interprets the theme of sensual woody-oriental classics in its own way, but Rogue Man remains unique thanks to its vibrant opening of citrus and green notes.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The Rogue Man fragrance pyramid opens with a refreshing citrus accord: bergamot and clementine are complemented by juicy peach and spicy rosemary.

At the heart of the composition, jasmine, labdanum, sweet vanilla orchid, and noble white cedar unfold.

The base features warm amber, velvety patchouli, sandalwood, tonka beans, and sensual musk. This contrast of freshness and depth makes the fragrance multifaceted and memorable.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Rihanna clearly understands how a guy should smell in winter, that's for sure. Vanilla with citrus is just a bomb, sweet and spicy, but somehow oily at the same time. The fragrance is really cool, I even liked it more than her women's perfumes 😏
