Identity and Release History

The perfume Rouge Bunny Rouge Lilt, released in 2012, is an exquisite perfume water from the British brand Rouge Bunny Rouge.

This fragrance is part of the Fragrant Confection collection, which embodies the sweet and playful accords characteristic of the brand's niche perfumery.

Founded in 2005 by Alexandra de Montfort, Rouge Bunny Rouge combines art, nature, and luxury in its philosophy, creating products that inspire and surprise.

Lilt is a shining example of this approach, offering a fresh and cheerful bouquet that instantly uplifts the mood and brings lightness to everyday life.

Positioning and Wearability

Positioned as a feminine fragrance, Lilt has a low-perceptible trail, making it ideal for daily wear, whether for work, meetings with friends, or relaxed weekends.

Its soft and unobtrusive character allows it to easily adapt to different situations and personal preferences without overwhelming others.

As a perfume water, Lilt offers moderate longevity, gradually unfolding on the skin throughout the day.

It belongs to the fruity and green families, giving it a refreshing and optimistic aura, perfectly suited for spring and summer months when lightness and freshness are desired.

This fragrance excels as a companion for warm days, providing a sense of coolness and vitality.

Description of the composition

Composition of Notes

The note pyramid of Rouge Bunny Rouge Lilt opens with refreshing top notes: fig leaf and green accord, which create a bright and cheerful start, reminiscent of a walk through a summer garden.

These notes quickly give way to the heart of the composition, where juicy coconut and sweet peach intertwine with delicate violet, adding a fruity-floral depth and softness that captivates from the first moments.

As it develops, the fragrance transitions to the base, where vetiver and musk provide a lasting and warm finish, perfectly anchoring the composition on the skin and offering a cozy conclusion.

This smooth transition from freshness to sweetness, and finally to an earthy base, makes Lilt a dynamic and multifaceted perfume that unfolds gradually, offering different emotions at each stage and remaining recognizable thanks to its harmonious structure.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The bottle truly captures the scent very accurately, as it is. Pay attention, it's worth feeling and examining more closely)

The scent is certainly green, but that doesn't mean everyone will like it. Personally, it's so close to me that sometimes I just lose my head. I close my eyes - and there I am in gloomy England, quiet and cozy, with only wind and heather fields around. But my husband doesn't like it at all, says it gives him a headache. He feels something cold and prickly, and those aren't just words. Everyone perceives it differently, but for me, this scent is a real find

After re-testing the fragrance, I realized that only the opening note truly appeals to me. This fig with herbs, which I mentioned earlier, smells wonderful. But then on my skin, it starts to feel a bit heavy. It seems like that's due to the peach

The fragrance is truly unusual, unlike anything I've tried before. At some point, it evokes associations with Queen of Sheba, although I can't quite explain why. Green peach or even unripe apricot seem to slip through it. The opening is definitely not for the faint of heart. It's better to apply it far from the face, for example, on the knees. At first, I couldn't decide for a long time whether I liked it or not. In the end, I came to the conclusion - yes, I like it!

What a wonderful fragrance! It really creates an atmosphere of coziness. Fig in perfumery has always caught my attention, especially after I tried Shabaud's fig - it was just amazing! And the freshness of the herbs here is simply incredible!

At first, it smells like some kind of grass and greenery, the violets also stink. I open the window at my dacha in summer - and this smell of herbs and leaves hits me right in the nose! 🌿 And then some musky and coconut notes emerge. It seems summery and nostalgic, but I'm not sure I could wear it. Although, at home on cold winter evenings, such a scent wouldn't hurt. ❄️

Where are these apples coming from? I smell them constantly, as if they're haunting me. I tested it several times, and each time these juicy apples were at the forefront. But here's the problem - the longevity is just terrible. After half an hour, there's no trace of the scent left. If it weren't for this, I would definitely buy it, but it's not going to happen. For such longevity, I give it two stars

Fig, of course, isn't on my list of favorites, but here it surprised me, as it's barely noticeable, just a slight hint. But the fragrance itself is something sweet, rounded, and with green notes. In the drydown, there's too much green, it's true, but if you wait a bit, it gets better 🌿

The fragrance is really interesting! At first, you feel a tartness and greenness, as if you're entering a garden. But then, after a few minutes, a coconut note unexpectedly bursts in with such sweetness that you simply can't help but smile. And then the freshness of parsley appears, giving everything a feeling of lightness and joy. All in all, a very unusual combination!

Wow! This is just amazing! The smell of fresh herbs, as if just cut. Summer sun and great weather! I cherish this fragrance like the most valuable thing. I'm buying it for the fifth time already. Honestly, I'm worried it might be discontinued. What will I wear in the summer then? :)

Fig in perfumery has always attracted me, its initial notes are truly delightful. But the coconut that appears later is completely unnecessary. The fragrance is too close to the skin, creating a feeling of confinement. It seems like it's only meant for home use, but I miss the freshness in it

Lilt - it's like a fresh breeze from the coast. The scent isn't just of the sea, but of nature itself, with green plants and stones. There's something similar to a Hermes fragrance, but this is more about a feeling of tranquility. And yet, the thought that mermaids are playing nearby doesn't leave me. It inspires and fills me with energy!

Seems like I'm the only one who doesn't get it. I try from different angles, nothing works. Good thing I started with a sample. Nothing in the pyramid is off-putting, but on skin and clothes it comes across as sharp wet greenery. To the point of sneezing and headache. Where are the promised peach and violet? Coconut? This is not perfume, but rubbish

This scent with a light herbal tartness is simply breathtaking… the creamy notes are also impressive. You want to inhale it, dreaming and enjoying, but alas, the boring musk base constantly pulls you back down to earth. You have to reapply it to feel that initial beauty again. Nevertheless, Lilt became a real discovery for me this spring)))

I can't really describe this scent yet. It just arrived, and I'm just starting to test it on myself. But what really caught me was the feeling as if white mulberries, or honey mulberries as they're also called, are blooming all around me. It's really interesting and a bit mysterious
