Fragrance information:

The house of Rouge Bunny Rouge gifted the world with Muse in 2014. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the chypre and floral families. The inspiration and craft behind the bottle belong to Nathalie Lorson and Alexandra de Montfort. A fragrance from the Fragrant Confection collection, in eau de parfum.

The sillage is very delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. It's a light presence — longevity is low, perfect for those who love something airy. Produced in the United Kingdom, where perfumery has long been elevated to an art form. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Muse unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Rouge Bunny Rouge is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Whiteflower and Green. It also reaches into Balsamic, Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Animals.

Right at the start you meet sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Freesia, Gardenia and Green Chord.

At the core of development you detect Jasmine, Labdanum and Moss keeping a silky white floral direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Low suggests confident staying power.

Taken together Muse holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Its sillage is really interesting, I like how it develops. But if you smell it from the wrist, it feels a bit heavy. Maybe it's because the weather got warmer, and this fragrance is clearly not for warm days. The oud starts to come through, but it doesn't seem metallic to me, more like something else. Overall, I can't decide yet if I like it or not ))))

If this is a chypre, then it's very delicate, like a cream. The flowers here are fresh, natural. It reminded me of Innocence by Chloe, and looking at the notes, indeed, they are quite similar. I haven't smelled it in a long time, but at our first acquaintance, it immediately popped into my memory, you can't trick your own brain, right. Such a touching, soft, angel-like scent - like Innocence. I don't detect obvious gardenia or jasmine, rather, it's airy white flowers with a light salty-coconut nuance, as if after a warm summer rain. Gentle, lovely, sensual. Labdanum and oud are not noticeable, but grey amber and cedar are clearly present. A man detected acacia in this fragrance. I agree with the comment about snowdrops, that's exactly how I perceive this fragrance and Innocence, which was also a snowdrop scent for me. P.S. Okay, friends, let's wrap this up, I've figured it all out. This is the scent of a dandelion heart. Try your little bottle, and you'll feel it 100% too 🌼

Sad! Fluffy jasmine branches, transparent freesia - interesting scent. But a mystery. In cold I smell it, in heat a metallic taste, as if oud interferes. Can't tell what's wrong

The frankincense just enveloped me in its spicy embrace, this is definitely not for a 25-year-old girl
