Vittoria: Inspiration from Italian Niche Perfumery

In 2019, S. Esse Strikes The Notes launched Vittoria, an eau de parfum for women.

This release belongs to the Floral and Oriental families, blending the elegance of floral accords with the warmth of oriental notes to create a versatile composition.

Founded by Stefano Esse in 2018, S. Esse Strikes The Notes embodies the idea of perfumery as music, where every fragrance is a symphony of scents.

Vittoria reflects this philosophy, offering a rich and harmonious palette that speaks to the soul through the sense of smell.

Positioning and Character

With a moderate sillage, Vittoria is ideal for everyday wear and special occasions alike.

Its floral-oriental character makes it suitable for any season, from spring walks to evening events, lending a sense of confidence and elegance.

As an eau de parfum, it offers balanced longevity and a gentle development on the skin.

For the best effect, apply it to pulse points such as the wrists and neck, allowing the notes to unfold gradually and create a personal aura throughout the day.

Description of the composition

Composition: fragrance note pyramid

Vittoria’s top notes open with a fresh burst of grapefruit, lemon, and orange, softened by the delicacy of rose and cherry blossom.

At the heart of the composition, rich accords of gardenia, jasmine, and peony unfold, enhanced by spicy nuances of saffron and a woody note of broom.

The base envelops the senses in the warmth of ambrette, white musk, oakmoss, and luxurious ambergris, creating a long-lasting, sensual finish that lingers on the skin for hours.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

What an amazing and warm fragrance! First, you feel a bright citrus freshness, and then light floral notes with a subtle powdery hint smoothly transition in. And then soft, spring-like accents of oakmoss appear, which don't prickle, but rather create coziness. This fragrance is simply perfect for summer, it fills you with positivity and doesn't seem trivial at all 🌼

This fragrance is certainly delicate, but for me, it's too light and unexpressive. White flowers and lemons, yes, but the feeling is somehow flat. The sweetness that should be pleasing is rather irritating, and the jasmine with peonies sound somewhat out of place. They overdid it with the musk, it's oppressive and depressing. Spring? I don't know, more like some melancholy spring, full of gray days

This brand's fragrance is truly delightful, I agree with the girls' opinion. In my opinion, it's very pleasant and easy to wear. From the first spray, you feel freshness and spring flowers, especially lemon. Gorse adds a honey note, and peony gives it coolness and richness. The base with musk and oakmoss adds to this coolness. White flowers and rose combine beautifully. You can catch spicy nuances and warmth in the fragrance. On me, it smells like a light oriental. Everything is very harmonious. Longevity is excellent, and the sillage is also noticeable. The bottle and cap look massive and heavy 🌸

This fragrance is the only one truly worth attention from this brand. It's exactly what should have been featured in the ad with Deva Cassel. It's like the embodiment of spring femininity, tender and delicate. Imagine: tiny flowers of all shades, clean musk, and subtle citrus notes that add sophistication. I would gladly buy it, but the price is just outrageous 😩

This is just a terrible experience with perfume. I don't understand what base note it is, but it makes me think of perfume sections in every shopping mall. It's a shame I didn't get to test it beforehand, and in the end, I had to buy it blindly on sale for 4165 rubles
