The composition of So Pure Men unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of s.Oliver comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Fruit and Floral. The palette also extends to Green, Ambery, Wood and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral, Fruit and Wood.

Right at the start you detect invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot, Cardamom, Citrus accord and Green Apple.

In the central layer you notice Geranium, Lavender and Violet holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The scent, of course, is quite familiar and well-known, but at the same time, it's surprisingly appealing. The bergamot here is cold, and woody notes with a slight resinousness create an interesting combination. Overall, it's a decent option for everyday use, but there's something about it that makes you ponder 🤔

The fragrance seems quite light and fresh, but the lavender here smells like soap. It reminds me of the scent after a shower, when your boyfriend uses his shampoo and you use your apple shower gel. This mix of masculine freshness with sour apple isn't exactly pleasing, it rather causes sadness 😔
