Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Casual Men is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of s.Oliver is evident in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Grapefruit, Mandarin and Watermelon.

When the opening settles you sense Basil, Clary Sage and Rhubarb holding a pure aromatic direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Aromatic and Green. The framework further includes Wood and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to Fern and Wood.

Taken together Casual Men holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent didn't impress me, despite the presence of sage, which I adore, and rhubarb. But this watermelon note, so watery, just ruined everything. In the end, it feels like the composition smells flat and cheap
